Etihad Airways welcomes Egypt civil aviation minister

Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Abdel Aziz Fadel, accompanied by Mohamed Sherif, president of Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, Ihab Hamouda, ambassador of Egypt to the UAE, and Mohamed Mostafa Kandil, embassy’s second secretary, paid a visit to Etihad Airways headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Khaled Al-Mehairbi, Etihad Airways’ senior vice president government and Aeropolitical Affairs, and Abdul Qader Hussein Ahmed, airline’s vice president government and international affairs , welcomed the Egyptian delegation.
The meeting was followed by a tour of Etihad Airways headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Al-Mehairbi said: “We’re delighted to welcome Abdel Aziz Fadel, the Egyptian minister of civil aviation, to Etihad Airways and to showcase the developments in our fast-growing airline.
“We have had productive discussions around common issues and bilateral aviation relations.”
Etihad Airways started operating to the Egyptian capital in 2004 and now operates 21 flights per week linking the two Arab capitals.
