Eysh Elly back with new episode

Jeddah-based YouTube show Eysh Elly (What Is) has just released a new episode titled “We did a disaster.” Badr Saleh, host of the show, joined YouTube in 2010 and grabbed the attention of millions of Saudis.
Saleh said there are four more episodes until the end of this season. Many viewers tweeted their concern about the discontinuation of the show when the last episode was aired during Ramadan. The newest 10-minute episode was finally aired last Friday and has reached more than 726,527 views.
In the show, Saleh mocked Saudi singer Mohammed Abdu’s new video clip Wahda be wahda (One for one). He said the video degrades Abdu’s long glamorous singing career. He is the best Saudi singer and this kind of music video does not do justice to the singer at all. “It has been 20 years since he released a video clip so he did everything related to art in one video. You can see Indians and Africans dancing. There is also a DJ Tiësto wannabe and a robot that has nothing to do with the song,” said Saleh. “I want to know why you didn’t say ‘No’ to this video clip? Even the lyrics do not match your style,” he asks Abdu.
The episode ends with an awareness campaign video done by medical students about the harm of smoking. It features young boys playing a prank on smoking men. They ask smoking men for a cigarette lighter. The men would refuse to give the lighter and would try to convince the boys not to smoke, even though they are smoking. Then another boy would approach them with a piece of paper. On it is written, “You are worried for my health? Why aren’t you worried about yours?”
