Gold's Gym Saudi Arabia (Bait Al-Batterjee Co. for Fitness), claimed to be the first international gym chain to establish in Saudi Arabia, announces its recent ISO 9001-2008 certification.
To become ISO 9001-2008 certified, a company must fulfill requirements outlined by the ISO (International Standardization Organization). Specifically, ISO 9001-2008 requires an organization to demonstrate a quality management system with the ability to consistently provide services & products that meet customer needs.
ISO 9001-2008 certification also means the organization has demonstrated its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through the application of the management system, with dynamic process approach for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer and other regulatory requirements.
Makarem S. Batterjee, president of Gold's Gym Saudi Arabia, attributes the company’s successful completion of this certification to his employees. “Everyone at Gold's Gym put in a great deal of effort and was critical to our success in achieving certification. We’re all excited about what this means for our customer relationships. ISO 9001-2008 certification is further evidence to them, and to prospects, that we serve quality, high-performance services that meet the unique demands of fitness lovers. We will put all our efforts toward helping our nation to achieve their fitness goals, to improve their physical potential and have a happy and healthy life,” he said.
