Al Khaliji takes part in Qatar National Sports Day events

DOHA: In line with Al Khalij Commercial Bank QSC mission to promote healthy lifestyles within the Qatari community, 18 members of the bank’s top management and staff members participated in the celebration of the country’s third National Sports Day. Five of the 18 participants placed in top positions in the Qatar Central Bank running race, which took place along the Doha cornice. Awards were presented to Al Khaliji team members by the organizers. In addition, several employees also took part in the Qatar Germany Partnership Football Tournament.
Prior to the National Sport Day, Al Khaliji employees participated in the bank’s ‘Generation Fit’ initiative, launched early last year, as a show of commitment to National Sport Day and as well as to promoting health and well-being in Qatar. These initiatives are a fundamental part of the bank’s proactive efforts to promote the well-being of the Qatari community and are also a reflection of the sportsmanship and team spirit that characterize Al Khaliji staff.
