A leading insurance company specialized in handling and reporting vehicular accidents has introduced a breakthrough electronic system for managing claims, which will finally ensure services in remote areas where insurance companies are virtually nonexistent.
The new claim routing system (CRS), launched by Najm Insurance Services Co., will handle the entire car accident claim process, from receiving claim transactions and electronically sending them to insurance companies to following up on claims and ensuring that checks are delivered to customers through Najm branches.
The CRS service was launched last Wednesday in Riyadh.
“The CRS will act as an intermediary between insurance firms and victims of traffic accidents,” Al-Sibihain said. “The system will also allow delivery of all documents electronically in accordance with a set of unified procedures. This will lead to an overall cut in costs at claims departments in insurance companies.”
Hani Dahan, head of Service Development at Najm, said the CRS system will include accident cases handled by Najm, the Traffic Department, the Civil Defense and police departments.
Najm operates within the motor insurance services sector, engaging in liability determination services and determining degrees of accident responsibility through highly trained and qualified cadres.
