Al-Rushaid Construction passes second ISO 9001 surveillance audit

Al-Rushaid Construction Company Ltd. (ARCC) has announced it has passed its second ISO 9001 surveillance audit, which TUV Nord of Germany conducted through its representative Shihab Ismael. Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation is confirmed through a program of annual surveillance visits and a three yearly recertification audit.
ISO 9001:2008 is a globally recognized quality management system standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) designed to enable organizations to ensure they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders, while complying with statutory and regulatory requirements. Passing this surveillance confirms that ARCC’s quality management system continues to be in complete compliance with ISO standards following the rigorous audit.
“By adhering to our corporate vision, mission and values, our team ensures that ARCC will continue to develop and provide quality-assured products and services as well as find ways on continuous improvement for our customers in the Kingdom”, said Rasheed Al-Rushaid, president of Al-Rushaid Construction Company.
“The successful completion of the surveillance audit illustrates our continuing commitment to maintaining the highest standards within our organization,” he added.
ARCC was founded in 1993 through a joint venture agreement between Al-Rushaid Petroleum Investment Company (ARPIC) and EEI Corporation of the Philippines. ARPIC is a prominent and leading Kingdom-owned company operating nationally and internationally principally involved in manufacturing, construction, engineering, trading, commercial real estate and technology.
Over the past 20 years, the company has built several industrial facilities for various industries such as oil and gas, power, petrochemical and other manufacturing facilities.
Norman K. Macapagal, ARCC’s GM, reassured TUV Nord and its customers on the company’s commitment to continue to improve its processes, procedures and systems in line with international standards as well as continue the organization’s strong commitment to providing efficient operations and continually improve the quality of its products and services.
