The Deanship for Admission and Registration at King Khalid University (KKU) in Abha has invited applications from expatriate students who wish to pursue higher studies at the university under a scholarship program.
The university will start receiving online applications from Thursday until June 23.
According to an announcement carried by sabq.org electronic daily applicants should be fluent in the Arabic language. Priority will be given to students who have passed secondary school exams with 90 percent marks or more from schools within the Kingdom. They should also have obtained 70 percent marks in skills and achievements.
“Admissions will be limited to seats available in various departments except medical and health departments,” it said, adding that the students will be selected for scholarship on the basis of certain criteria and conditions.
Students who have been registered will not be allowed to change their subjects of specialization after being accepted for a specific course. Female students should have their male guardians as per the Saudi law.
Applicants should have valid resident permits and have passed out from the secondary school either this year or the previous year. Applications will be accepted through the university’s website: http://registration.kku.edu.sa/kku/init Other Saudi universities including King Abdulaziz University (KAU) in Jeddah and Princess Nora University in Riyadh also offer scholarships to outstanding foreign students to pursue their higher studies with them.
