Mobily unveiled its new program — Mobily Cloud Partnership Program (MCPP) in the MEA — at an event held in Al Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh on Monday.
During the event, a number of MCPP partners were also announced.
MCPP is the framework for collaboration between Mobily and its partners, offering a wide range of benefits, training, certification and rewards.
"This is a unique opportunity encouraging local entrepreneurs to develop and market their own business application in collaboration with Mobily, contributing directly to the growth of the local ICT Industry,” Khalid Al-Kaf, CEO of Mobily, said.
Al-Kaf added that joining the program gives partners the opportunity to provide trusted and certified cloud computing services and to be associated with Mobily commercial brand, and it is a unique opportunity to strengthen their position in the Saudi market.
“This program is attracting many leading solution providers. As of today, 14 partners joined the \,pno;y program and started delivering, in collaboration with Mobily, unique IT Business solutions to customers in sectors such as education, health, manufacturing and finance,” said Al-Kaf.
The objective of the program is to collaborate with leading IT solution and consulting players to participate together in the very fast growing cloud services market.
Through this program, Mobily creates the first cloud computing marketplace and community in collaboration with the best local and global IT solution providers to pursue together the cloud services market opportunity that is expected to increase by 61.9 percent — CAGR — during the 2013-2017 period according to the latest market research from IDC.
Mobily also launched the first cloud marketplace platform in the region to open up its portfolio of cloud, networking and mobility services, and allow its new ecosystem partners develop and deliver their own customized applications and solutions with differentiated value to each customer segment.
