Champion team Cyclone leads awardees feted at OFBC Friday Morning League Season 4 awards night

JEDDAH: The awards night last week for the OFBC Friday Morning League 5+1 Season 4 marked another successful staging of the event while paving the way to the start next Friday of the new tournament at the Ice Land Bowling Center.
Champion team Cyclone led the awardees that were feted at the ceremony recently where cash prizes in addition to the trophies were handed out by OFBC officials.
Present at the awards night was Albert Zuniga, operations manager of league sponsor Zikato Construction Co.
Individual trophies were also presented to the members of the champion team as follows: Fatima Jintarat, team manager; Bash Langa, team captain; team members Tito Cruz, Richard Junio, Thong Langa, Jack Jarin, Randy Del Remedios, Goria Vasquez, Hazel Jane Junio, Christopher Sayson, Salic Mudag and Tommy Kamal.
Receiving the first runner-up trophy was Taurus, a team that had consistently qualified No. 1 finalist the past two seasons only to settle for second-best each time.
Rounding out the major awardees were Selections, 2nd runner-up; D’ Luf’s Strikers, 3rd runner-up; Krau Thai Restaurant, 4th runner-up; Zikato Strikers, 5th runner-up; Guardians, 6th runner-up and Troopers, 7th runner-up.
Also, special awards were handed out for high game scratch (Edwin Ronquillo/Xtine Stone), high game with handicap (Regino Mendoza/ Alicia Penus) high series scratch (Tommy Kamal/Fatima Jintarat) and high series with handicap (Jun Pamintuan/Thea Busico).
Prior to the start of Season 5 Morning League the July monthly tournament rolls off this Friday, according to the OFBC Facebook page.
