DUBAI: The end is nigh – or at least it was a few weeks ago – and in the absence of Armageddon on that occasion the end of the world has apparently been rescheduled.
According to conspiracy theorist David Meade – that is the guy who claimed the world was ending on Sept. 23 – the end of the world will “begin” later this month.
Meade apparently believes that Oct. 15 will mark the start of a ‘seven year tribulation,’ that will eventually see the end of mankind.
So what can we expect? Apparently the seven years will include earthquakes, hurricanes and tsunamis that will devastate the planet.
Meade previously predicted that the end would be triggered by the mysterious Planet X, or Nibiru – which is apparently hidden.
He said previously that the hidden planet would collide with earth – it did not happen – now he says this latest world ending event will be triggered in the same way.
NASA has already said they are not aware of any such hidden planet.
But in fairness to conspiracy theorist Meade, the world is regularly hit by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tsunamis and threats of nuclear war – so arguably one might suggest that these are the most likely ways to wipe us all out.
If his prediction is accurate this time, we have until Oct. 15 – so let us all be nice to one another, spend time with those we care about and perhaps smile a bit more often. But still use your seatbelts in your car, drive more carefully and please, stop smoking... Just in case Meade's latest prediction turns out to be wrong.
