April 23: The Washington Post states that Police in Pakistan have arrested a Muslim man accused of burning a Christian woman to death for refusing his marriage offer, an official said Monday. Ijaz Shahid, a police official in the eastern Punjab province, said the suspect hurled gasoline at the woman outside her home in the city of Sialkot last week before setting her on fire and fleeing the scene.
