DUBAI: Yemen’s army has further tightened its control over routes leading to the center of Kataf district in Saada province after clashes with Houthi militia, Saudi state-news channel Al Ekhbariya reported on Monday.
A Yemeni military source said forces pushed the militia out of the area during the storming of the center of the Kataf.
It is understood that 20 Houthi were killed, including three field commanders.
Over the past week the army has also made advances against the Houthi militia in Taiz.
