May 9: Financial Express states that Pakistan has invited neighboring Iran to resume the stalled talks over the Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline project, Pakistan’s local media reports said on Tuesday. The News quoted a senior official at the Petroleum Division of the Ministry of Power as saying that the Islamabad has extended an invitation to the Tehran to visit Pakistan and conduct negotiations on the Gas Pipeline Project before the Holy month of Ramadan, which sets in during the third week of May.
