Saudi envoy meets wounded Pakistani soldiers

ISLAMABAD: The Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf Saeed Al-Malkiy, on Wednesday visited the Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM) in the city of Rawalpindi, where he met wounded soldiers and inquired about their wellbeing.

He was given a detailed briefing on the role and contributions of AFIRM, which is the premier rehabilitation institute for civilians and soldiers wounded during military operations.
Al-Malkiy expressed appreciation of the soldiers’ high morale, and paid tribute to their contributions to regional peace and stability, reported Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of Pakistan’s military.
