The Nation: Legal team denied jail meeting with Sharifs

July 20: The Nation report by Israr Ahmad states that the Adiala Jail authorities Thursday denied a legal team’s meeting with former premier Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Capt (r) Muhammad Safdar at the eleventh hour. Hundreds of Sharifs supporters and party leaders gathered outside Adiala Jail, hoping to get a glimpse of their imprisoned leaders. But only a few got a chance to visit them.
