Hodeidah Secretary discusses support of displaced people with UNHCR

The Secretary of Hodeidah district Waleed Al-Qadimi discussed on Monday with UNHCR efforts to support and protect internally displaced people (IDP) in camps.

Al-Qadimi stressing the keenness of his government to cooperate with UNHCR in a way that contributes to alleviating the suffering of IDPs, Yemen’s news agency reported.

UNHCR plans to renew programs for IDPs in different areas in Yemen, the agency said, where they have local teams to monitor the IDPs conditions.
