The fourth edition of the annual El Gouna Film Festival kicked off with an opening ceremony at the Egyptian resort town’s Abu Tig Marina on Friday night, bringing together the who’s who of Egyptian cinema wearing their glittering best.

The “Sheikh Jackson” star was a vision in an ethereal, white silk gown from New York-based label Naeem Khan.

Huda El-Mufti
Egyptian designer Mohanad Kojak dressed the actress for the opening ceremony of the festival. She wore a plunging, cream-colored blouse equipped with a floor-trailing train tucked into a red pencil skirt.

The actress opted for an ensemble from Lebanese designer Rami Kadi. The dress, plucked from the designer’s Fall 2020 couture collection, was geometrically embroidered with multi-colored glass beads and sequins and featured a floor-sweeping ombre feather cape.
