Salalah

Jabrin Castle
This well-preserved fort was built in 1675 and was an important center of learning for Islamic law, astrology and medicine.

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
Located in the capital city, Muscat, this mosque is made up of 300,000 tons of sandstone. It covers an area of 416,000 square meters and can hold up to 20,000 worshipers.

Jebel Akhdar
Jebel Akhdar, which translates to green mountain, is 2,980 meters high. Visitors can discover hidden wadis, get a panoramic view of the small, traditional villages and join guided walks.

Wadi Shab
At this gem, located 90 minutes away from Muscat, visitors can take boat rides, go on hikes and of course, swim in its perfectly clear blue pools.

Bait Al-Zubair
At Bait Al-Zubair, travelers will be able to get a glimpse of everyday Omani life and culture. The privately owned museum features an interesting collection of weaponry, traditional costumes, antique household items and jewelry.
