Japan MOF Announces DTAs With Germany, Pakistan Covered by MLI

January 12: Bloomberg Tax states that the Japanese Ministry of Finance Jan. 8 announced that the DTA with Germany, signed Dec. 17, 2015, and the DTA with Pakistan, signed Jan. 23, 2008, are covered under the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI), signed June 7, 2017.
