The Ras Al-Khaimah Fine Arts Festival (RAKFAF) returns with its 9th edition from Feb. 5-April 3. With the theme of Hope, the festival will present an outdoor exhibition of local, regional and international talents.

Hailing from Saudi Arabia, the visual artist will be presenting her work “Stand Up Together II,” a mix of abstract figures and contrasting colors that express humanity’s diversity.

A member of the Emirates Photography Society, the image maker will be presenting her work, “Harvest,” shot in Oman’s Bidya desert last year.

Faisal Al-Rais
The Emirati conceptual artist and photographer is strongly influenced by the work of American street photographer Vivian Maier. Through his photography, Al-Rais aims to deconstruct, reconstruct and highlight the beauty found in life’s simplest things.

Hailing from Ras Al-Khaimah, the graphic designer is known for her retro 1970s style and pop art importation.

The Filipino artist based in Abu Dhabi documents daily life, diverse cultures and landscapes in his photography.

An Indian contemporary artist based in Dubai, he draws inspiration from the beauty seen in life through the telescope, microscope or naked eye.
