August 12: Dawn reported that days after the UK Home Department refused to extend former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s stay in the country on medical grounds, his ‘fresh’ medical report was submitted to the Lahore High Court here on Wednesday pleading that he “cannot return as doctors have not yet allowed him air travel”.
