RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics has appointed Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Dosari as president, effective 19 June, to succeed Konrad Pesendorfer.
Al-Dosari will lead the authority’s work to achieve the transformation goals and complete the development of the statistical work system, according to a statement.
Al-Dosari, who was previously the deputy governor of the Saudi Central Bank, held a number of leadership positions in areas of system analysis, economic research, statistics and chairing governmental and professional committees.
GASTAT is a government agency that is responsible for the implementation of statistical works including the conducting of national surveys in Saudi Arabia.
