MADINAH, 8 August — Two young Saudis drowned in a deep pond in Abyar Al-Mashi, located 20 kilometers northwest of the holy city, following rainfalls in the area. An official of the Civil Defense Department in Madinah told Arab News that the youths, aged 15 and 18, were playing around the pond after they set out with a group of youngsters for a pleasure trip to watch and enjoy the rain.
