JEDDAH, 16 November — After three-month-long exciting games, the Police & Seiko Basketball Tournament finally came to an end last week at Ittihad Sports Club. A huge crowd of basketball aficionados witnessed the championship matches with Hygienic-Fine Tissue (Inter-Comercial Open B Division), Seiko-Marriott (Inter-Hotel Division), NAI-Juffali (Inter-Commercial Open A Division), Castrol/Hyundai (Inter-Company Bona Fide Division) and Pagadian (Inter-Maguindanao Division) teams emerging as champions in their respective divisions.
Officials from the Consulate General of the Philippines headed by Labor Attache Carlos Sta. Ana, Assistant Labor Attache Naser Munder, OWWA Welof Mustafa Glang, Welof Jake Samain and Cultural Officer Gene Gangco Punguinaguina (representing Consul General Kadatuan P. Usop) graced the occasion. Other personalities present were Elaa Al Baz, Abdulatiff Al-Moin & Alex Mathew of Bugshan Est., Muhammed Ali Taleb (representing Abdulrahman Al-Hussaini), Hussain Kunhi of Completa Coffee Creamer (FCDF), Yousuf Ali Javed of Royal Brunei, Hisar Iqbal of Castrol and Ben Garcia of SkyFreight Forwarders. Community leaders from KASAPI Congress like Bobby Dalos, Romy Bani, and Elmer Alberto and Jun Cabrera also attended the affair.
