‘Saja’ and ‘Umm Al-Ramth’ declared wild life sanctuaries

RIYADH, 30 November — Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, who is also managing director of the National Commission for Wild Life Conservation and Development, has stated the decision of the commission to make the Saja and Umm Al-Ramth wild life sanctuaries.

Both are famous for birds on the verge of extinction such as bustards, to create sanctuaries of international standards that will facilitate research.

The prince added that the implementation of the scheme will provide a number of jobs for Saudis and transfer the area into a center of eco-tourism. (SPA)
