JEDDAH, 5 March — Police have apprehended a Saudi youth, 23, for alleged burglary after he apparently tried to rob the valuables of a house belonging to an expatriate in Jeddah’s Aziziya district, Al-Madinah reported yesterday. Investigations proved that the youth was wanted in connection with a number of other robberies. Muhammad Jameel, an Indian, said he was shocked when he saw the man inside his house. He had already removed a gas cylinder, a cassette recorder and other valuables. Jameel said he caught the thief inside the house with the help of others and held him until police arrived.
