Private sector role commended

RIYADH, 11 April — Commerce Minister Osama Faqeeh has highlighted the important role being played by the chambers of commerce and industry in the economic development of GCC countries. He was addressing the 17th joint meeting of the GCC secretariat-general and the chambers of commerce and industry of the member countries here yesterday. GCC Secretary-General Abdul Rahman Al-Atiyya commended the progress attained by the private sector.
