JUBAIL, 27 November 2003 — Twelve foreign women in the Eastern Province embraced Islam during the holy month of Ramadan, said Sultan ibn Basri, the head of the Islamic Education Center in the city. Ten were Sri Lankans and two from the Philippines, he told Al-Youm daily. This brings to 280 the total number of foreign women who embraced Islam with the help of the center since it was established three years ago.
