Man Divorces Wives After Eid Announcement

QUNFUDA, 22 November 2004 — An 80-year-old man did not find an Eid gift for both of his wives better than divorce certificates, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported. The man had problems with his second wife of 15 years. He tried to solve the problems but his sons from the first wife stood in his way. To take revenge, on the eve of Eid Al-Fitr he divorced his first wife of 65 years. He then divorced his second wife.
