RIYADH: Saudi aid agency KSrelief distributed 920 food baskets to vulnerable groups in Khan Younis, Gaza, benefiting 5,520 people.
The agency’s central kitchen also continued distributing hot meals, providing 25,000 meals to vulnerable groups in central and southern Gaza.
The aid is part of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian efforts to support Palestinians amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
In Mali, the agency delivered 50 tonnes of dates as a gift from Saudi Arabia, to be distributed to the most vulnerable families across various regions.
Saudi Ambassador to Mali Abdullah bin Saleh Sabr handed over the gift to Mali’s Food Security Commissioner Redouwane Ag Mohamed Ali in Bamako, in the presence of a KSrelief representative.
In Chad, KSrelief distributed 250 boxes of dates in the Mayo-Kebbi East region, benefiting 1,500 individuals, as part of a broader program to distribute 800 tonnes of dates this year in the Central African country.
