DUBAI: Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna will feature on the forthcoming album from masked Egyptian musician Tul8te, pairing two of Arab pop’s rising young acts.

The collaboration was confirmed after a studio photograph surfaced showing Elyanna alongside Tul8te and his longtime collaborator, Egyptian producer Moataz Maady. Elyanna is set to appear on the record, titled “Sadeeq Albernameg.”

Elyanna, born in Nazareth, has become at 24 one of the most visible faces of a globally minded Arab pop. Now based in Los Angeles, she built her sound on Arabic lyrics set to Latin and Western rhythms, a fusion drawn from her multicultural upbringing.

In April 2023, she became the first Palestinian artist to perform a full set in Arabic at California’s Coachella festival in the US, where she used the stage to spotlight an Arab designer and said she was “introducing new culture.” Her debut album, “Woledto,” followed a year later — a project she described as “the embodiment of pride to be an Arab woman, to be from Nazareth, to be from the Middle East.”

The record, released through Universal Arabic Music, carried her through a world tour, a debut on “The Late Show” and a set at Lollapalooza, and she later joined British band Coldplay on their single “We Pray,” performing it live with the group in Dublin.

In 2026, American fashion house Coach named her the face of its spring campaign and then its Ramadan campaign, and in May, she joined the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album on “Illuminate” with Canadian singer Jessie Reyez. She went on to perform at Canada’s opening World Cup match in Toronto on June 12, sharing the bill with Canadian acts Alanis Morissette, Michael Buble and Alessia Cara.

Tul8te, who performs in a white knit mask that has become his signature, emerged on the Egyptian scene in 2023 with a sound that blends pop, bossa nova and psychedelic rock. He released the album “Narein” in 2025 and opened 2026 with the single “Seneen.” A release date for “Sadeeq Albernameg” has not been announced.
