Plaxo has unveiled a public beta of the company’s popular contact management service for the Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client. Dubbed Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird, the beta allows Plaxo members to synchronize their existing Plaxo address book with a Thunderbird address book.
As part of a continued effort to extend its service to various platforms and e-mail clients, Plaxo now supports full integration with Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express. In addition, Plaxo members can build their Plaxo address book by importing contacts from their Netscape, Palm, Yahoo! Mail, and Hotmail accounts.
The Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird can be downloaded by visiting www.plaxo.com/downloads/tbird. The new Plaxo Toolbar for Thunderbird will be free; the basic Plaxo service will continue to be free. For more information click to www.plaxo.com.
