Expensive Falcon Rescues Man Mired in Debt

RIYADH, 2 November 2005 - A man who was mired in debt got his prayers answered when an expensive falcon landed on the roof of his house, Madinah newspaper has reported. The man captured the falcon without any idea that it was not the usual species found in many parts of the Kingdom. It turned out to be a rare species which commands a fortune in the local market. Word of his prize catch spread and got plenty of offers. He eventually sold the bird for SR700,000 and paid all his debt.
