Hyundai Wins $147m Saudi Arabian Order

SEOUL, 3 November 2005 — South Korean builder, Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., said yesterday it had won a $147 million order to build power-transmission lines in Saudi Arabia. The order is part of a broader project under the Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority to build power-transmission networks to connect Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar, Hyundai said in a statement.
