Investors Go to Villages to Buy Family Cards

ASIR, 18 December 2005 — A group of stock investors traveled to villages in Al-Majarda province in the south to buy as many family cards as possible to invest in the public underwriting for Yensab Company. The investors buy stocks in the name of the family after paying them an agreed-upon amount. A Saudi citizen said that he sold the names on his family card containing eight names to an investor for a thousand riyals. He said that a family card with five names and less is being sold for SR500.
