JEDDAH: The Administrative Court here yesterday asked the Ministry of Health to reimburse SR700,000 that it had deducted from payments to a contracting company that maintained a number of hospitals in the Kingdom, sources close to the court said.
They said the court ruled that the deduction was not justified according to the terms of the contract between the two sides. The ministry’s representative said he would appeal the verdict.
The court rejected a complaint from another maintenance company, which sought SR3 million in compensation from the ministry, saying it failed to present evidence to support the claim. The company is appealing the decision.
