RIYADH: The King Abdul Aziz and His Companions Foundation for Talent and Creativity (Mawhiba) recently conducted an orientation workshop for students involved in its educational events for 2009.

The workshop began with a presentation on Mawhiba’s vision for coming years until 1444 AH (2022 AD) by Nevin Fahmy, who is in charge of international programs at Mawhiba. Fahmy touched on the summer programs that Mawhiba is planning this year.

The workshop also included three lectures to teach children about motivation and how to achieve their goals.

Dr. Khalid Al-Yehya from Saad Specialist Hospital in the Eastern Province delivered a lecture on achieving goals, Rashid Al-Zahrani delivered a lecture on how to make the most out of one’s life, and Farouq Al-Zouman delivered a lecture on his experience in climbing Everest.

Amal Al-Hazaa, head of Mawhiba’s women’s section, assured that the programs for this year would be different from those in previous years.
