Airport director denies beating up employee

MADINAH: Abdul Fattah Atta, director of Prince Mohammed Airport in Madinah, denied on Wednesday press reports that he physically attacked an employee.

“Although quarrels among employees are not uncommon, I have never physically attacked an employee. These reports are untrue,” he said.

According to reports, Atta beat an employee over an issue relating to money. It is claimed the two men had a verbal exchange after which the director attacked the employee with his hands and feet. The employee is said to have suffered various injuries.
