Fellow recipients of the award included: Mike Wirth, executive vice president of Global Downstream at Chevron Corporation; Bill Reinert, national manager of Advanced Technology Group, Toyota USA; and James L. Gallogly, CEO of Lyndonell Basell Industries and former CEO and President of Chevron Philips Chemical Company.
During a two-day visit to the University of Colorado at Boulder in the US, Al-Mady toured the facilities, met with senior members of the faculty and was invited to address both the student body and the Engineering Advisory Council.
