The dresses are timeless in their classic cuts and monotone colors. As if a nod to 1950’s Hollywood, her gowns are perfect for the red carpet.
The classic white gown drapes beautifully and the Swarovski detailing is used to create a stunning V-neckline and an ornate belt, which possess an ethnic aesthetic in its sparkling bouquet of floral crystals. This is definitely Hollywood circa 1953, reincarnated with a flashy touch of Arab glamor. The combination creates a harmonious contrast.
“My personal design philosophy is, ‘Create like it’s you last creation. Make each garment the best amongst the best. Fill it with passion to give it more class and elegance,” said Hesan. “Each design is a masterpiece; therefore, good quality must be imposed.”
The meticulous detailing given to each design provides a contemporary panache that transforms it into a modern gown that is wearable for all ages; yet, still retains a quality of mature refinement.
“Warda’s underlying aesthetics is class, elegance, style, chic and glamor,” stated Hesan. “You can easily recognize a Warda creation by its flamboyant way of style in womenswear because it is able to extract a woman’s beauty and highlight it.”
Hesan explained that the reasoning behind the name of her label, Warda, is because each piece is like a delicate rose that embodies the true reflection of a woman. Just like her designer influences of Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, and John Galliano, Hesan is able to make a woman feel beautiful. Her gowns celebrate femininity and its wearer dramatically demands attention from onlookers.
“I so love Coco Chanel because she gave the world such wonderful and classic pieces that are timeless,” confessed Hesan, when asked who she aspires to be like. “She’s one of the greatest foundations in the History of Fashion.”
Since she was a little girl, Hesan has always been obsessed with fashion. “I was always fond of dresses,” she said. “I used to have fun mixing-and-matching my clothes to create new styles.”
She was able to develop that love into her passion, and ultimately, her career. After graduating, Hesan was able to open a Fashion House very soon and started the business in haute couture here in Dubai. In 2005, Warda Fashion Design launched its lines of bridal gowns and evening dresses.
“My family has always been there for me, giving me support in every decision I make,” said Hesan. “My beloved husband is always inspiring me to pursue my passion. He has been by my side through the trials and errors that came with my career.” Hesan also gives credit to her friends and talented team behind every design, who execute her visions flawlessly.
Hesan’s new collection is inspired from the colors of summer: The air, sun, flowing water and the colorful lushness of flowers in full bloom. “The flowing sexiness and admirable femme of young and fabulous women is presented through sophisticated style.”
The collection is composed of soft and high-quality chiffon, silks, French laces, and soft tulle in pastel colors such as lemon yellow, powder blue, peach, powder pink, shades of green, misty silver and nude.
