The man, a Saudi in his 30s, was heavily drunk when he began chatting up the woman, who was accompanied by her children, outside a shop.
Her husband was inside the shop at the counter paying for goods.
The man then tried to take the woman’s abaya off at which the woman began screaming and ran away pursued by the man.
At this, the woman’s husband came running and attacked the man.
The two men were separated by members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice who then arrested the drunken man and took him to a nearby police station.
