Dr. Khaled Tayeb, chairman of the Shifa Charitable Society, said the center is aimed at providing the best possible care to the poor suffering from chronic diseases.
“There are many poor people suffering from chronic diseases and they need someone to take care of them,” he said.
He said the center would be provided with all requirements of such patients. “There will be a specialized unit to provide health education.” The center will also have special clinics for treating patients suffering from diabetes, blood pressure and heart diseases. “There will be an advanced unit for homeopathic treatment,” he added.
