“The program introduced by the Human Resources team of the SWCC is a new electronic system that enables job seekers to execute their tasks more efficiently,” Abdullah Al-Khedher, director of the Electronic Transformation Program at SWCC said on Sunday.
Al-Khedher commented they were proud of their ability to provide employment opportunities for qualified Saudi youths. “We are committed to recruiting more nationals as we are confident that they have great skills and progress potential. We see it as a long term investment in human resources, which is why we continuously offer training programs to raise employees’ performance and productivity level,” he said.
The program makes the process faster and more efficient, Al-Khedher said.
In addition, he noted that the existing employees could use the system to request internal recruitment or transfer between various departments inside the SWCC.
“Also in place is an attendance system that enables department heads to process employees’ attendance data quickly and accurately, and generate tailor-made electronic reports,” the director said.
He added that the new system included an electronic training module for which employees could apply according to their specific training requirements.
As it issued completion certificates, it would help the management define the right career paths and development for its employees.
Meanwhile, the human resources team completed work on a digital hub linking the human resources system with clinics in SWCC desalination plants all over the Kingdom.
The link channels approve sick leave electronically, thus cutting paperwork and saving time and efforts.
