The Grammy-winning singer of “Crazy Love” and his Argentine sweetheart married in Buenos Aires in March and had a formal ceremony and reception there on April 2. Liz Rosenberg, Buble's representative, said Buble’s family and friends had a chance to celebrate in Vancouver's Pan Pacific Hotel on Friday. Buble gave a speech and video screens alternated footage of the wedding in Argentina and the Vancouver Canucks playoff hockey game.
The 350 guests included Lopilato's family from Argentina. Buble, 35, won his Grammy earlier this year for traditional pop vocal album, and is one of North America's top-grossing concert entertainers. Lopilato made her name as a model and in Argentine sitcoms and soap operas, including “Rebel Way,” “Little Girls,” “Married With Children” and “Pirate Soul.”
The couple had a full ceremony with 300 guests in April at a mansion outside Buenos Aires. They have homes in Canada, Los Angeles and Buenos Aires province. Buble dated British actress Emily Blunt for several years before he met Lopilato in 2009 during a South American concert tour. Lopilato was romantically involved before with tennis player Juan Monaco.
