The four were reportedly involved in breaking into several expat laborers’ homes in south Jeddah and stealing from them in armed robberies. The men are accused of using knives to threaten their victims.
“The arrests were made in less than 24 hours from the time the victim made a call to the police," said spokesman for Jeddah police Brig. Misfer Al-Juaid. "The victim, a resident of the Kilo-10 district, suffered minor injuries as he was trying to prevent the four from stealing his money."
Al-Juaid said the suspects were arrested at a police checkpoint in south Jeddah and were taken to a south Jeddah police station where they allegedly confessed to their crime.
