Pennsylvania State Police say 53-year-old Joachim Rogge was found dead in Armstrong Township, Lycoming County. Lt. David Young says Rogge's death does not appear suspicious but investigators are not releasing a cause of death.
Police say a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation worker spotted something suspicious and alerted police. Rogge's body was recovered from a wooded area.
Rogge was reported missing from his Bethesda, Maryland home on May 31. A family spokeswoman told The Baltimore Sun that Rogge left home three days earlier following a domestic dispute.
Rogge was a correspondent for WAZ Mediengruppe, a German media company.
