The prince also visited the rainwater drainage canals and water collection tanks in the Al-Samer district and Umm Al-Khair neighborhood.
As part of the project, 98 houses and 20 warehouses were razed or evacuated and 28 empty spaces cleared in a shorter time than expected.
The projects were designed and work started in collaboration with departments to avoid delays. Work is progressing round the clock and is expected to be completed in November.
The Prince said long term projects are also underway, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The prince also dismissed reports of stopping or suspending some projects in Makkah as rumors.
