There was an online message circulating from someone claiming to be a mother named Um Fahd urging authorities to release her son.
In her message, Um Fahd claimed that her son, in his 20s, was jailed for seven, eight or nine years depending on the message read. She also claimed that her son did not face any trial.
In the message she said that she is 60 years old and in a very bad psychological condition. The circular came from unknown sources and cannot be traced.
Al-Turki said the Interior Ministry office in charge of coordinating with the family of detainees does not have any information about a prisoner named Fahd Al-Saeed.
He believed the message was false and the person behind it had other intentions. He urged anyone who had information about those responsible for the message or the people mentioned in it to contact the Interior Ministry.
