BRJ, an initiative of ALJ Community Initiatives, created 15,007 jobs (58 percent of total job opportunities) through its productive household program, while its small projects finance supported 2,221 projects (9 percent) owned by young men and women.
BRJ’s direct employment program created 6,515 jobs, its training ending with employment program created 1,621 jobs, 163 jobs were created by the truck ownership program, 274 jobs by the taxi ownership program, and the work from home program created 11 job opportunities for women who work from home to produce prayers rugs.
The verification process was based on examining created job opportunities, lists of names and details of beneficiaries and the program from which they benefited.
The independent auditors examined the statements from organizations in which the beneficiaries have been employed.
In addition, they audited the small projects finance program, productive household program and taxi and truck ownership programs.
As part of BRJ activities and programs, the report included an audit of the Nafisa Shams Academy for Arts and Crafts’ activities, which revealed that the academy provided training for 568 female trainees in different fields, including soap production, secretarial work, tailoring and toys production.
