Riyadh Mayor Abdul AzizAl-Muqrin said businessmen and philanthropists in the Riyadh province would finance the charity, which is established to mark the 50th anniversary of Prince Salman as governor of Riyadh.
He said a popular ceremony would be held to appreciate Prince Salman's contributions for the development of Riyadh and its surrounding areas.
Prince Abdul Aziz said the Ministry of Social Affairs has licensed the society, which would support charitable organizations in the province by providing them with necessary training and expertise.
